HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: CORNING GIRLS SET TO OPEN SEASON (2021-11-29)

The Corning girls’ bowling team opens the season today with a young roster taking to the lanes.

The Hawks return three girls, Meghan Sturdevant and Ella Perry, both seniors, and freshman Briannah Evans.

They have three newcomers, two of them who are new to the sport.

Sturdevant is a bowler to watch, averaging in the 180s and qualifying for the postseason the past few years, only missing last year when the postseason was canceled due to Covid.
