HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: HIGH HOPES FOR CORNING BOYS' BOWLING TEAM AS THEY OPEN SEASON (2021-11-29)

Southern Tier Sports Report
The Corning Hawks boys’ bowling team kicks off their season on the road.

The Hawks have a new coach, but a lot of good returning bowlers this season.

CORNING HAWKS BOWLING TEAM:
Head coach: William Condon (first year)
Returning bowlers: Aidan Kosinksi, Sr.; Cameron Kennedy, So.; Joe Enderle, Jr.; Lucas Gwin, Sr.; Phillip Borden, Jr.; Noah Freeland, Sr.; Matt Hoffman, Jr.
Coaches thoughts on returning bowlers: We have a wonderful group of returning athletes this year with a lot of experience. We’re just excited to get out, have fun and compete. Our seniors Aidan, Luke and Noah are looking to lead the team into hopefully another successful season.
Newcomers: Camryn Stefanini, So.
Coaches thoughts on newcomers: Camryn is excited to get his shot at competing at the varsity level this year. He is talented and eager to help out the team.
Thoughts on the team this year: We have experienced, talented bowlers this year and are looking forward to the season. We’re just excited to get back to something resembling normalcy. As a first year coach, I’m eager to continue the program’s success from Coach Kizis.
Thoughts on the league this year: The league is going to be competitive this year. We as a team know that we have to play at our highest level each and every game in order to be successful. We just want to get out there and show the community what we can do.
