SOUTHPORT — Even some rain couldn’t keep the Notre Dame baseball team off the field on Thursday as they gear up for the upcoming season.

The Crusaders hit the field on Thursday to practice for next weeks start to the season.

Notre Dame opens the year at home with a game against Moravia on March 29. They play twice next week, as they also host Watkins Glen next Friday.
