HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: MALONE NETS THREE WINS IN ELMIRA'S MEET WITH M-E (2022-09-22)

McKenna Malone had three wins, but Elmira’s swimming and diving team fell to Maine-Endwell 93-84.

Malone won the 50 free in 27.81 and she won the 100 back in 1:10.86. Malone joined Ava Sherman, Madelyn Cavalier and Maren Novotny to win the 400 free relay in 4:32.48.

In the 200 free Sherman was second in 2:23.23 and in diving Emma Beach took third at 189.70.

Cavalier won the 100 fly in 1:12.79 and Sherman was second in the 100 free in 1:04.33.

Novotny was second in the 500 free in 6:53.38.

Cavalier was second in the 100 back in 1:17.45 followed by Scarlett Hollenbeck in 1:32.89.

Gabrielle Mattoon won the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.89 followed by Ahmiya Roney in 1:39.63 and Cadence Kipferi in 1:54.75.
