ELMIRA JUNIOR ENFORCERS SIGN GOALIE FROM ITHACA (2022-07-06)

Junior Enforcers Director Of Scouting, Nick Pagliacci, announced today that Elmira has signed 6’1 190 pound goaltender Lucas Prince of nearby Ithaca, N.Y.

Prince has spent the last three seasons playing in Utica after starting hi junior career with the Junior Comets 16u AAA squad during the 2019-20 season. That season Lucas played in all his teams’ meaningful games down the stretch and even saw playoff action in three games, good enough to earn him the jump to the Premier team for the next two years. From 2020-22, Prince played in six games for the Premier Junior Comets and now makes the jump into the Junior Enforcers organization with quite a bit of USPHL experience under his belt as just a nineteen-year-old.

“I had the experience of seeing a Junior Enforcers game night as a visiting player the last two seasons and the professional way they run their organization just stuck with me” commented Prince. “When it became a reality to sign here, I relished the opportunity and I’m really excited to be playing here in Elmira”.

“Lucas is a goaltender who expressed interest in being in Elmira since the start of the spring” mentioned Pagliacci. “He has some experience in the league and will be a big asset to our goaltending group.”

The Junior Enforcers organization will continue summer skates with Coach Patterson until the start of training camp in September.
