WAVERLY — The Corning Minors baseball team scored six runs in the third inning to pull away from Waverly in 17-4 win Tuesday in District 6 Little League action.

Corning scored four in the top of the first, but Waverly answered with three in the bottom half of the inning.

In the third Corning scored six times to make it a 10-3 game and then they scored seven runs in the fourth to cap their scoring in the game.

Blake Kizis had a double and scored a run in the game and Noah Magnuson had a pair of hits, with a double, and three runs scored, while Ronnie scored three times in the game.

Colton Warner scored two runs and Damon Vosburgh had two hits and scored two runs, while Brodie O’Dell had a hit and scored a run.

Braylon Morse had two hits, with a double, and two runs scored and Brayson Hustrander had a double and scored a run, while Carter Bardo and Payson Kener each scored runs.
