BIG FLATS — Lyncoln Bennett was dominant on the mound and at the plate to lead Big Flats past Waverly 7-0 in District 6 Majors Division Baseball action.

Bennett doubled and scored in the first inning and had two hits on the game, while throwing a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts and no walks on the mound in a complete-game win.

Big Flats got two runs in the third inning, and again Bennett was at the heart of the attack. After a leadoff single by Graham, Bennett hit an RBI single and he scored on an RBI single by Doane.

Big Flats put the game away in the fifth inning when they scored four times. After back-to-back hits by Graham and VanGordon there was an RBI groundout by Bennett and an RBI triple by Doane.

Updyke singled home a run and Kaiser singled home a run in the inning.

Graham had three hits and scored three runs and Bennett had two hits, with a double and two runs scored.

VanGordon had a hit and scored a run and Doane had a single, a double and a triple with a run scored.

Updyke and Kaiser had hits and Kaiser scored a run.

Jack Pipher struck out nine and walked none, allowing six runs on nine hits in five innings for Waverly and Brody Lambert allowed a run on a hit and a walk in an inning.

Lambert had two hits and Jesse Lantz and Axel Murray had hits for Waverly.
