ITHACA — After a pair of close losses, the Horseheads boys bounced back with a close win on Saturday.

The Hawks defeated Ithaca 1-0 on a Jayden Beckham goal.

Horseheads had dropped back-to-back games to Corning and Elmira in which the game was tied in the final five minutes.

The win is against a quality Ithaca team that beat Elmira 2-1 last week.
