CORNING — The Corning boys’ soccer team edged Elmira 3-2 on Saturday night.

Aidan Crane had a goal, off a Micah Cornfield assist for the Hawks and Cornfield scored on a penalty kick, while Carter Rosno scored on a Luke Johns assist.

Talon Wise had both Elmira goals, the second assisted by Sam Abbey.

Corning had 10 shots and three corner kicks in the game and Elmira had nine shots and five corner kicks.

Caleb Anderson made seven saves in net for the Hawks and Jacob Rose matched him with seven saves in net for the Express.
