STAC SWIMMING: HORSEHEADS MOVES TO 3-0 ON THE SEASON (2021-09-16)

HORSEHEADS — The Blue Raiders moved to 3-0 on the swimming and diving season with a 101-49 win over Binghamton on Thursday.

In the 200 medley relay Grace Shelhamer, Sibby Lowe, Gabby Janeski and Sydney Ham won in 2:05.59.
In the 200 IM Shelhamer won in 2:32.23 followed by teammates Jessica Campbell (2:47.60) and Kaitlin Wheeler (2:51.23).

Lowe was second in the 50 free in 26.44 and Janeski was third in 28.10.

Ella Blowers won the diving at 209.40 with Emma Bachert third at 178.25. Cece Cowen had a 202.30 as an exhibition.

In the 100 fly Shelhamer won in 1:13.48 and Isabell Paddock (1:21.87) and Mackenzie Grover (1:26.61) swam as exhibitions.

In the 100 free Delaney Woodhouse was second in 1:01.51 followed by Ham in 1:08.45.

Elise Johnson won the 500 free in 5:45.15 and Lydia Lapierre (6:14.77) and Campbell (6:46.75) swam as exhibitions.

Lowe, Johnson, Shelhamer and Janeski won the 200 free relay in 1:50.03 and in the 100 back Anh Thu Tran won in 1:09.81 followed by Allie Benton (1:09.96) and Gracie Ringer (1:14.05).

Ham won the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.20 and Natalie Fulmer was second in 1:35.75, while Adyson Wood (1:38.22) swam an exhibition.

Johnson, Woodhouse, Low and Janeski swam the 400 free relay as an exhibition in 4:04.77.
