ELMIRA — The Express boys’ soccer team was edged by Ithaca 2-1 on Tuesday.

The Express controlled the second half, outshooting Ithaca 8-2, but in the end they couldn’t fully recover after Ithaca took a 2-0 lead at the half.

Ryan Ess had the Elmira goal off an assist from Talon Wise.
