Southern Tier Sports ReportELMIRA — Jade Nordin had a career day for Notre Dame’s bowlers in a loss to Union Springs/Port Byron.
Nordin had a career-best 583 series and a career-high 231 game to lead the Notre Dame girls.
Notre Dame shot 761, 757 and 726 for a 2,244. USPB shot 880, 831 and 953 for a 2,664.
Maddie Gleason shot 146-179-173-498 and Emmalie Barkley shot 168-118-131-417.
Erin Connolly shot 126-119-126-371 and Jillian Whittaker shot 83-151-100-334, while Isabella O’Toole shot 90-92-134-316.
USPB was led by Jenna Bumo with a 197-167-224-588.
For the boys Notre Dame was short-handed with just three bowlers.
USPB shot 824-765 and 856 for a 2,445 and the Notre Dame trio of bowlers shot 475-579-452-1,506.
Ashton Colunio and Conner Ryan each shot 508 to lead the Notre Dame boys.
Colunio shot 149-191-168 on the day and Ryan shot 139-210-159.
Billy Alley shot 187-178-125-490.
Brandon Young led USPB with a 130-201-209-540.
Extra bowlers for Notre Dame were Makayla Bachanan 104-132-163-399, Shannon O’Connell 85-67-70-22, Lucy Nanda 131-118-249, Lydia Howe 100-86-186 and Lily Michal 70-81-151.
