COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD MOFFE HAS SEASON-HIGH 19 FOR CITADEL (2022-01-10)

Tyler Moffe had a season-high 19 points to help lead The Citadel past Western Carolina 90-84 in overtime last week.

Moffe was 7-for-12 from the field and 5-for-8 from three in the game. He had four boards and two assists as The Citadel played their first game since before Christmas. It was the most field goals, and most three-pointers that he’s made in a game this year.

In the team’s most recent game on Saturday, a loss to Chattanooga, Moffe had five points and four boards, with one assist and two steals.

The Citadel plays UNC Greensboro on Thursday at home.

On the season Moffe averages 9.6 points a game and he has 53 assists. He also has 53 rebounds this year, averaging 4.1 of each this season.

Moffe is fourth on the team in scoring this year, and leads the team in assists. He’s fourth on the team in rebounds. He is third on the team with 16 three-pointers made this year.
