It’s a busy day of local sports, with all the local girls’ lacrosse teams in action, and a busy slate of baseball and softball.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE
U-E AT HORSEHEADS, 7:30 P.M.
The Blue Raiders host their first home game of the year against the Tigers. Horseheads opened with a close loss at Vestal on Tuesday.

JOHNSON CITY AT ELMIRA, 7:15 P.M.
The Express host their home opener. Elmira opened the year Tuesday with a loss at Whitney Point.

VESTAL AT CORNING, 7:15 P.M.
The Hawks are home to begin the season.

BASEBALL
HORSEHEADS AT VESTAL, 5 P.M.
The Blue Raiders are on the road for the first time after opening with a win at home against Binghamton.

ELMIRA AT BINGHAMTON, 5 P.M.
The Express look to move to 2-0 on the year as they head to Binghamton.

CORNING AT MAINE-ENDWELL, 5 P.M.
The Hawks play their second straight road game to start the year.

SOFTBALL
HORSEHEADS AT VESTAL, 5 P.M.
The Blue Raiders are on the road for the first time against a tough Golden Bears team.

ELMIRA AT BINGHAMTON, 5 P.M.
After a tie to start the year the Express look for their first win at the Patriots.

The Hawks are on the road for a second straight game.

GIRLS’ GOLF
MARATHON, ELMIRA AT HORSEHEADS, 4 P.M.
The Blue Raiders are home at Willow Creek for a second time this week.

TENNIS

The Express play host to the Hawks.
