HORSEHEADS — Eighth-grader Brogan Sullivan had four goals and two assists and Horseheads rolled to a 20-2 win over Binghamton to start the year.

Horseheads had 15 goals in the first half in the win.

Sullivan had the six points and Zach Lese had a goal and four assists in the win.

Braden Woodworth and Cody Dale each had three goals and an assist in the game.

Griffin Stevens, Zack Bennett and Brady Kelly all finished with two goals in the game, while Colton Cox had a goal and an assist.

Boe Briggs and Joe Cain each had goals for Horseheads.

Griffin Stevens was 8-for-9 on face-offs and Briggs was 11-for-16.

Andrew Potter had two saves and Lue L’Amoreaux had four saves for Horseheads.

“We were happy to be able to get up and down tonight,” Horseheads coach Jason Neuabauer said. “We had 10 boys figure into the scoring and we were able to get a lot of ids their first varsity experience. Good luck to Binghamton, their boys played with a lot of heart.”

Paddy Segrel and Devonte Santiago each had goals for Binghamton, while Jack Segrue finished with 10 saves in goal.
