The Spring sports season kicks off this week with a busy week of games.

Overall this week there are 38 events, including 11 on Tuesday and 12 on Thursday.

Here’s a day-by-day look at the schedule, including how many events each day.

MONDAY (2)
* The Notre Dame boys’ lacrosse team hosts Union-Endicott to kick off the season.
* The Corning tennis team opens the year at Binghamton/Seton Catholic.

TUESDAY (11)
* The Horseheads girls’ golf team hosts Corning, Elmira, Waverly and Watkins Glen at Willow Creek.
* The Horseheads tennis team is at Ithaca to start the year.
* The Horseheads baseball and softball  teams each hosts Binghamton, Elmira Is at Johnson City and Corning is at Vestal as all six teams open their seasons.
* The Horseheads girls lacrosse team is at Vestal and Elmira is at Whitney Point.
* The Horseheads boys’ lacrosse team hosts Binghamton.

WEDNESDAY (6)
* The Horseheads flag football team is at Greene and Corning hosts Owego.
* The Horseheads tennis team hosts Binghamton/Seton Catholic and Corning hosts Ithaca.
* The Elmira boys’ lacrosse team hosts Corning and Notre Dame is at Seton Catholic.

THURSDAY (12)
* The Horseheads girls’ golf team hosts Elmira and Marathon.
* The Horseheads baseball and softball teams are at Vestal, Elmira baseball and softball is at Binghamton and Corning baseball and softball are at Maine-Endwell.
* The Horseheads girls’ lacrosse team hosts U-E, Elmira hosts Johnson City and Corning hosts Vestal.
* The Elmira tennis team hosts Corning and Notre Dame is at Trumansburg.

FRIDAY (3)
* The Elmira tennis team is at Vestal.
* Corning’s girls’ lacrosse team hosts Penn Yan.
* The Corning baseball team hosts Johnson City.

SATURDAY (4)
* The Corning boys’ lacrosse team hosts Horseheads.
* The Elmira flag football team hosts U-E.
* The Elmira boys’ lacrosse team is at Vestal.
